August 7-9, 2009 August 7, 2009 June 11–13, 2009 February 7, 2009 Project LEAP! is a community sponsored event to get kids out of the house to enjoy physical activity. Featuring inflatable, obstacle courses, climbing wall, and face painting, this event will be held at the Lambeau Field Atrium. In addition to all of these activities, Sideswipe will be performing as well as teaching workshops throughout the day, all for free! For more information see The Project LEAP! Info Page. January 28, 2009 Since its creation, Sideswipe has performed regularly at the Choreographer's Carnival to showcase and share ideas with other fantastic choreographers from the LA area. Once again, Sideswipe will be performing at the Carnival on January 28 alongside many other well-known choreographers and dancers. January 25, 2009 Come watch and root for Sideswipe as they battle it out against other martial arts teams from around the country at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Featuring many special guests including Shane Sparks, from You Got Served and America's Best Dance Crew, and Flo Master from You Got Served and How She Moves, as well as seminars on Hip-Hop, Popping, and Locking, this event is not to be missed! January 9, 2009 Several Sideswipe/Sharkey's Karate members will be performing for students of Aux Sable Middle School while educating them about the lifeskills of discipline, respect, confidence, attitude, and creativity. January 3, 2008 Tune in your TV's to The CW on January 3, to catch the premiere of Matt's new television series Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight! December 6, 2008 Be sure to watch Luke Broadlick in his guest starring role alongside Keke Palmer in an upcoming episode of Nickelodeon's True Jackson, VP. The episode is called Ryan on Wheels and will be airing on Saturday, December 6 at 6pm Eastern/9pm Pacific.
November 9, 2008 Members of Sideswipe will be representing Team USA in competition, as well as perform for the Opening Ceremonies at the 2008 World Karate Association World Championships. With 45+ countries in attendance this year, the WKA Worlds will be hosted at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. December 26-29, 2008 Come train with Sideswipe where it all started, Sharkey's Karate Studio. Whether your goal is to learn something new, have fun and meet new people, or prepare yourself to own next year's competition, AKA Winter Camp has something for everybody.
Come out to the El Dorado Music Fest to see Sideswipe perform alongside country music icons such as John Anderson, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Shooter Jennings. The El Dorado Music Fest has enjoyed a successful 20 years of history, with past performers including Tracy Lawrence, the Dixie Chicks, and Toby Keith.
Sideswipe will be performing at a benefit event for AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA) and The Actors Fund, alongside such renowned choreographers as Travis Payne, Robert James Hoffman III, and Mandy Moore.
Sideswipe will be performing at the University of Memphis Rose Theatre on September 10. June 21, 2008 Don't miss Sideswipe as they perform at the 43rd Annual AKA Grand Nationals. July 10–12, 2008 Come and see Sideswipe in the perform in the opening and closing ceremonies of the MAIA Super show. The Team will also be providing seminars, lessons, and be on hand in booth 224 for free autographs. July 14–17, 2008 August 14–August 17, 2008 Sideswipe will once again be holding Boot Camp and Summer Camp at the AKA this summer. Come and train and play with all of the Sideswipe team members! All ranks, ability levels, and ages are welcome. |
